Gabriel Stanford-ReisingerSifu developer Sloclap spawned a fair bit of buzz following the reveal of their next game, a massive departure from the single player adventure experience of their last game, Rematch seems to be shaping up for a solid audience when it fully launches later this year.
Not too long ago, Rematch launched an open beta to Steam, letting players flock to the soccer-based multiplayer title with Rocket League-esque action. As it stands, based on SteamDB, the game has amassed a peak player count so far at over 124,000 players, with over 50,000 players playing at this moment.
Rematch is poised to fully release on June 19 and will shake things up as a premium multiplayer experience priced at $29.99.
